Sentient Energy was looking to overcome the obstacles that came with their rigid change management process. More specifically, change orders weren't actually seen until they reached the approval phase, resulting in an increased change order cycle times.
We needed a better way to collaborate with our suppliers and contract manufacturers.
Propel enables Sentient Energy to streamline its change management process and bring in key suppliers to approve changes. The modern and fresh user interface that comes with the Salesforce platform made it easy for everyone to learn.
The look and feel of Propel is so much better than our previous platform. We love that we are able to have our contract manufacturers and key suppliers come into the system through third-party vendor portals to approve changes and give context to what changed.
The ability to make adjustments to change orders while they were in the change control board resulted in faster cycle times and a stronger approval process. In addition, Sentient Energy was able to quickly resolve customer issues when they came up.
