Product Spotlight helps sales drive upsell and cross sell with related products. Centralizing product data makes it easy for sales reps to access accurate information every time. Examples include viewing the status of engineer-to-order products; ensuring related accessories are included in quotes; and accessing specifications for product setup and activation.

How to Upgrade your Sandbox

New releases will be pushed to your production instance by Propel

What Does This Mean
For Me?
  • Your Salesforce org can be upgraded starting the week of December 2nd.
  • A sandbox version of the release is available now. If you want to upgrade your sandbox and test the new features, contact your Customer Success Manager.
What Action Do I Need To Take?
  • The push may take up to two hours, and your users can remain logged in and working while the upgrade occurs.
  • Once your org is upgraded, your Propel Admin must perform the Configuration Instructions for each incremental release. We will reach out when your org is upgraded, and your Admin can begin the configurations.
What’s The Impact to my Org?
  • Review the below Configuration Instructions for each release and assets with any IT counterpart.
  • To test the Winter ‘25 release in your Sandbox, send an email to your Customer Success Manager. We recommend you review all materials below.

Propel Requirements 
Winter ‘25 release introduces Propel Requirements feature to connect user needs and component requirements natively to user’s bill of materials.
New Reports 
New reports are added to the Winter ‘25 release to support Propel Requirements.
Propel Collection Improvements
Propel Collections was introduced in Summer Incremental ‘24, the new release offers the new ability to configure ExportPDX field sets to identify Additional Attributes to be included in the PDX package exported from Propel Collections.
Training UX Updates 
Propel Training UX is transitioning from the mobile browser platform to move to a more streamlined experience.
