We are moving beyond document management table stakes (native file linking, system-generated PDFs, watermarking, approvals, training, and search) to a system where document content becomes actively consumed, automatically enriching the product data already in the system. An environment where static attachments transform into living relationships that improve new product development, sustaining engineering, and quality management.
AI-powered from the start. When files are uploaded or connected from cloud tools, AI classifies metadata and proposes relationships to existing product records. Reviewers can query document sets with natural language, surface version summaries, and understand redline deltas without reading line-by-line. The result: documents that answer questions, not just store information.
With Google Drive, SharePoint/Microsoft 365, and other cloud-authoring connections, teams will work in the tools they already use while keeping Propel as the unified source of truth for lifecycle, access, and auditability.
